Una piccola riflessione - Just a little thought

Today I do not want to talk about fashion and advices.
Today I'd like to talk about something that happens here in Italy and I hope to be able to give you an idea about that, in English.
Yesterday evening I was on my sofa with Rooney (my 5 months old dachsund) and I watched a tv show named "Matrix" that was talking about an Italian crime story that happened months ago and that police did not solved yet.
The story is about a young girl, 15 years old only, who lived in south of Italy, in Puglia in a small town named Avetrana.
Her name was Sarah Scazzi, and she disappeared in august for a couple of months.
She has been found dead in a hole in the countryside, and her uncle Michele Misseri has accused about this terrible murder.
Two days ago he has been released from prison, as her wife and her daughter have been accused instead of him.
A tv show made a long interview with this man, the same day he came back at home.
I presume an exclusive and really well paid interview.
One of the people that were invited to discuss about this terrible story on the tv studio, it was an italian writer as far as I remember, said that it was really bad to see all journalists and people from Avetrana that went to see Misseri's wife capture, as they were pressing a lot that woman and did not leave her alone with the police.
I was thinking that in Italy, especially recently, everyone wants to talk about these stories, as everyone wants to give their own opinion, not based on the true facts, but only on their thoughts.
That writer, for instance, has been paid to go to that tv studio to talk about these facts.
Wasn't it a "pressure" as well? Wasn't it a "journalistic fury" as well??
Lots of people here in Italy seems to act only for being famous, to gain more money, to have popularity.
And while they are doing  such things, we forgot completely that little girl, Sarah, and the terrible murder that happens.
I was able to watch only 10 minutes max, then I had to switch off the television.
And I was thinking... is there still respect for the people?
Is there anyone who has enough of these tv shows in which all people wants to talk about things that they do not know at all, all people wants to share their thoughts on these facts with everyone else?
I would like that all people in Italy can do what I did. Just switch off.
I have enough.
This situation in Italy is really frequent, especially in the last few years.. and since I know that I have readers from all over the world, I would like to ask.... is it the same where you live????
Please let me know.
