Per motivi professionali conosco meglio la sua idea sulla moda uomo.. che mi ha sempre colpito tantissimo.
Molto rigoroso, e all'apparenza serioso e un po' anni 70, si rivela ricercatissimo nei tessuti utilizzati e nei tagli.
Un uomo che veste "fitted" (tagli aderenti), con accessori assolutamente meravigliosi.

Ho avuto la fortuna di visitare il suo negozio a Madison Avenue a New York, e devo dire che non ha assolutamente deluso le grandi aspettative... Spazi minimali, colori sobri ed eleganti (nero, grigio antracite, marrone molto scuro, navy e avio), personale di gran classe, oggetti di decoro provenienti direttamente dalla sua collezione privata.. e ovviamente una collezione decisamente da ammirare.
I have had the chance to visit his Flagship store in Madison Avenue in New York recently, and have to say that it was as per my great expectations. Minimal spaces, colours really elegants (black, dark grey, chocolate dark brown, navy, and slate), employees with a great class, great art objects put into the stores that belongs directly to him and are part of his personal art collection... and obviously a collection that is absolutely great.
Insomma, credo fermamente che si parlerà ancora molto a lungo di Tom Ford. Una carriera strepitosa, destinata solo a migliorare. Un eleganza d'altri tempi, ma resa attualissima da forme e materiali.
